Rafael Caldeirinha

Rafael Caldeirinha is a Full Professor in Telecommunications at the Polytechnic of Leiria, where responsibilities include serving as Course Leader for the MSc in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and coordinating research in Mobile Communications at the Instituto de Telecomunicações. In addition to academic roles, Rafael holds positions as President of CTE 106 at ANACOM, Secretary and Treasurer of the European Association on Antennas and Propagation (EurAAP), and Local Coordinator of the CONNECT5 European Digital Innovation Hub. Rafael is active in research and standardization in wireless communications and electromagnetic fields, recognized as a Senior Member of IEEE and URSI, and has editorial roles in several scientific journals. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Radiocommunications, an Habilitation in Telecommunications Engineering, and an MBA focusing on Leadership and Management.
