Ramiro Camacho is a distinguished professional with extensive experience in telecommunications and competition regulation. Currently serving as Comisionado and Investigador en Regulación Comparada at the Instituto Federal de Telecomunicaciones since September 2017, Ramiro previously held the position of Director General de Consulta Económica at the same institution from October 2014 to May 2017. Prior to that, Ramiro worked at the Comisión Federal de Competencia, where responsibilities included Director General Adjunto de Estudios de Competencia and Director of Estudios y Concentraciones and Estudios y Prácticas Monopólicas from January 2008 to October 2014. With an academic background that includes a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and multiple advanced degrees in engineering and environmental economics, Ramiro also served as Professor Asociado "C" at the Universidad de Guadalajara from September 1995 until taking a leave in 2008.
