Jorge Ulloa Hung

Jorge Ulloa Hung is an academic professional with extensive experience in education and research, currently serving as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Miami since January 2021, teaching courses in Global Cultures, Religions, Communication, and Caribbean Anthropology. Additionally, since January 2002, Jorge has held the role of Senior Editor at the Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo, focusing on the promotion and indexing of the journal Science and Society. Jorge's background includes a postdoctoral research position at Leiden University from January 2013 to February 2019, concentrating on the early colonial encounters in the Americas, and leadership at the Museo del Hombre Dominican from May 2008 to February 2019. Jorge's academic qualifications include a PhD from the University of Leiden and a Master's and Bachelor's degree from Universidad de Oriente in Cuba.
