Claudio Lopez is an accomplished professional in the field of cybersecurity with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently, Claudio serves as Comandante de Ciberdefensa at Estado Mayor de la Defensa Uruguay and holds the position of Cyber Security Consultant at Urudata. Additionally, Claudio is Jefe de Ciberdefensa and leader of DCSIRT at Ministerio de Defensa Nacional - Uruguay, while also participating as a member of the CAHSI Advisory Council on Information Security at AGESIC. Recent engagements include training professors in the Cybersecurity Technologist program at UTU and contributing to the Information Security Committee at UNIT. Previously, Claudio managed cybersecurity at ANDA and led IT services for the Armada Nacional de Uruguay. Claudio's educational background includes an Engineering degree in Computer Science from Universidad Católica del Uruguay and a Master's degree in Information Security and Systems from Universidad de la República. Claudio also has a foundation in military training as an officer of the Armada.
