Luis Horta Puig

Luis Horta Puig has extensive experience in business development and environmental management, currently serving as Gerente de Desarrollo de Negocios at TGA Teyma Gestión Ambiental since December 2006. In addition to this role, Luis is a faculty member in the "Estrategia y Sostenibilidad" course for the Master in Management program at UCU Business School and teaches "Gestión Integral de Residuos" at UNIT Uruguay. Previously, Luis held the position of President at Cegru - Cámara de Empresas Gestoras de Residuos del Uruguay and worked as a technical team member at Organización San Vicente - Obra Padre Cacho, where responsibilities included promoting socio-labor integration for waste classification. Luis holds a Civil Engineering degree with a focus on Hydraulics and Environmental issues from Universidad de la República and an MBA from Universidad Católica del Uruguay.
