Erika Cook, Ph.D., is a highly accomplished educational leader with extensive experience in driving equitable instruction and strategic growth. Currently serving as the Executive Director of State Partnerships at Instruction Partners, Erika has demonstrated exceptional leadership by increasing new business to over $15 million and expanding team membership by 600%. Prior roles include Chief Academic Officer at the Iowa Department of Education, where Erika directed the implementation of the Iowa Academic Standards and secured a $7.8 million USDE grant for an alternate assessment for English learners. Erika's earlier experience encompasses significant contributions to West Des Moines Community Schools, where initiatives included improving campus culture and advancing equitable access to education. With a Ph.D. in Education Leadership and Policy from Loyola University Chicago, Erika has a proven track record in fostering academic excellence and equity across diverse educational settings.
