Matthew Carlson

Matt Carlson currently serves as the Regional Vice President of Sales at Instructure, overseeing the K–12 segment in the western United States for an education technology agency generating $556 million in annual revenue. With a strong background in sales and team leadership, Matt has led teams of varying sizes and has successfully secured new business while maximizing revenue. Previous roles at Instructure included K-12 California Regional Director, where Matt transformed an underperforming territory, and Senior Solutions Engineer, providing key technical and curricular support during the sales process. Earlier experience includes a managerial position in technology training at Park Hill School District and teaching roles at Moberly Public Schools. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Education from Truman State University, along with a SaaSy Leadership Certification.
