Marko Tomas has a diverse work experience in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industry. Marko started their career as a Pharmacy Student at Parkdale Guardian Drugs in 2009 and later worked as a Technical Support Representative at ICA Canada Online. In 2012, they became a Pharmacy Practice Resident at Women's College Hospital, where they also held roles as a General Medicine Pharmacist and a Cardiology Pharmacist.

In 2016, Marko joined Syneos Health as a Clinical Trial Pharmacist. Marko then moved on to Janssen Inc., where they took on various roles including Medical Affairs Intern in Oncology, Medical Science Liaison in Cardiovascular & Metabolism for the Southwestern Ontario region, and eventually, a Scientific Advisor in Patient Assistance and Special Access Programs.

In 2021, Marko became an Ambulatory Care Pharmacist at Women's College Hospital before joining Insulet Corporation as a Medical Affairs Lead in 2023. Marko also has experience as an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Toronto, starting from 2013.
