Justin Mahlik

Justin Mahlik has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Justin started their career at Baird as an Investment Banking Analyst, where they worked on multiple M&A and equity financing transactions. Justin later became a Senior Investment Banking Analyst, collaborating with the Head of European Business Services Banking to build Baird's European services practice.

Mahlik then joined BP Capital Management LLC as a member of the investment team. In this role, they oversaw the entire investment process, developed business strategies with portfolio company management, and worked on the transaction to take Adesa Auto Auctions private.

In 2015, Mahlik co-founded DRIVIN - CarCo Technologies, a big data and analytics platform for the automotive industry. As the Chief Operations Officer, they raised $10 million in capital and grew the organization to $30 million in revenue with a team of over 80 professionals. Justin was responsible for finance, accounting, legal, sales, and operations.

Currently, Mahlik is working at IAA as the SVP | Chief Transformation Officer. Justin also oversees a marketplace demand team of approximately 400 employees, generating over $1 billion in annual revenue. Justin Mahlik completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance and Accounting from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management in 2012.
