Maximilien Roy

Maximilien Roy is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in strategy, government relations, and public policy. Currently serving as Director of Strategy and Government Relations at the Insurance Bureau of Canada since May 2025, Roy has also held a board member position with AMCHAM Canada Quebec Chapter since August 2019. Previous roles include Vice President of Federal and Quebec affairs at Restaurants Canada, Senior Manager of Public Policy at Amazon, and CEO of the Regroupement des jeunes chambres de commerce du Québec. Educational credentials include an MBA from École des sciences de la gestion (ESG UQAM) and a Master’s degree in Public Administration from École Nationale d'Administration Publique, complemented by a Bachelor of Arts in Political Studies from Bishop's University.
