Chris Dougherty

Chris Dougherty is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in insurance and claims management. Currently serving as a Senior Claim Manager at Intact Insurance Specialty Solutions since January 2018, Chris has held various titles including Senior Coverage Counsel and Claims Attorney during tenure. Prior experience includes roles as an Associate at Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP and Steptoe & Johnson LLP, as well as legal internships at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Chris holds a Juris Doctor from The George Washington University Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in History from New York University, complemented by a background in research from The Juilliard School.
