Richard Nicholson is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in the semiconductor and electronics industries. Currently a Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer at Xceltronics and Chief Technology Officer at Integense Micro, Richard previously held senior engineering and business development roles at Empower Semiconductor, Supermicro, and Fairchild Semiconductor, where significant contributions included leading the repositioning of battery charger portfolios and managing large teams across multiple regions. Earlier roles at Texas Instruments involved overseeing advanced research and development in energy storage management, while prior experience at Maxim Integrated Products and Thomson Semiconductor focused on ASIC design and product development. Richard holds a Ph.D. in Microelectronics/Radiation Detection and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering Physics from Lancaster University.
