Amal Tom

Amal Tom has a diverse work experience in the field of data science and analytics. Amal started their career as a Data Analytics Intern at EY in 2017. Amal then worked at BRIDGEi2i Analytics Solutions, where they held multiple roles including Data Analyst, Business Analyst, and Analytics Consultant. During their time at BRIDGEi2i Analytics Solutions, Amal Tom successfully improved a Fraud Risk Detection Model for a major NBFC/Banking client, resulting in significant savings for the client.

Amal later joined Zscaler as a Data Science Lead, Sales Analytics, where they contributed to the company's data analytics efforts. Amal subsequently worked at SIL International as a Data Science Consultant, providing their expertise in data science. Currently, Amal Tom is employed at Integra Credit as a Data Scientist.

Amal Tom's education history is as follows:

Amal Tom completed a Master's degree in Business Analytics and Information Management from Purdue University Daniels School of Business from 2022 to 2023.

Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Electronics and Communication from Model Engineering College and Cochin University of Science and Technology, where they studied from 2014 to 2018.

Before pursuing their bachelor's degree, Amal Tom attended Vidyodaya school in 2013 and 2014, where they held the position of Senior Headboy.

In addition to their formal education, Amal Tom has also obtained several certifications. Amal became an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner through Amazon Web Services in October 2022. Amal acquired the certification in Fundamentals of Deep Learning from NVIDIA in September 2022. Prior to that, they completed certifications in Product A/B Testing from Udemy in May 2021, Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization from Coursera in August 2020, and Neural Networks and Deep Learning from Coursera in July 2020.
