Mark Durrenberger

Mark Durrenberger has held a variety of roles in the finance and data science industries. In 2010, they began their career as a Financial Advisor and Registered Representative at New England Financial, where they were responsible for marketing and client acquisition. Mark achieved 150%+ of their client acquisition targets in more than half of their quarters with the firm. In 2013, they moved to Vantage Financial Partners Limited as a Financial Planning Analyst, where they built financial planning models and developed an Excel template to automate importation of Morningstar data. In 2014, they became a Financial Advisor at Della Monica & Associates, a private wealth advisory practice of Ameriprise Financial Services. There, they managed the financial planning practice of the firm and implemented procedures/processes to streamline financial planning data collection and preparation. In 2016, they joined Balasa Dinverno Foltz LLC as a Senior Advisor, managing relationships for nearly $40M of client assets. In 2018, they became a Wealth Management Advisor at TIAA, where they developed and presented financial planning projections and investment simulations through Monte Carlo analysis. In 2020, they joined the Springboard Data Science Career Track as a Data Science Fellow, mastering skills in Python, SQL, data analysis, data visualization, hypothesis testing, and machine learning. In 2021, they became an Analyst eCom Analytics and Automation at Perrigo Company plc and began working as a Data Freelancer on freelance data science and analytics projects. Mark is currently employed as a Data Scientist at Integra Credit, beginning in 2022.

Mark Durrenberger obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics and Economics from Northwestern University in 2007. Mark then went on to receive a Master's degree in Secondary Mathematics from Northwestern University in 2009. In 2019, they earned a Certification in the Data Scientist with Python Track from Datacamp. In 2020, they earned a Certification in the Data Science Career Track from Springboard. Mark has also obtained additional certifications from Springboard, Google Cloud, and DataCamp in 2021, 2022, and 2023 respectively.
