Elena Kim has a diverse work experience in the finance industry. Elena started their career in 2001 at UC Rusal, where they worked as a Financial Reporting Manager until 2005. Elena then joined TNK BP as an Internal Audit Manager in 2005. In 2006, Elena Kim joined Integra, first as the VP of Reporting & Taxes until 2012, and then promoted to the position of CFO.

Elena Kim began their education at Plekhanov Russian University of Economics from 1994 to 1998. Elena then pursued further studies in accounting at The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, obtaining a degree in ACCA between 2003 and 2005. Building upon their expertise in finance, they went on to pursue a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, which they completed from 2010 to 2012.
