John McClelland, PE has over 25 years of professional experience in the engineering field. John began their career in 1996 as an Electrical Design Engineer at Continental Eagle Corporation. In 1999, they moved to Omya as an Electrical Engineer for Region Americas. From 2012 to 2017, they were the Director of Technology at Technibus, Inc., where they were responsible for the company's testing and electric criteria for the products, as well as performing electrical testing of products to validate and improve designs. During this time, they also managed a test lab. From 2017 to 2021, they worked as a Part-Time Faculty at The University of Akron. Most recently, they have been an Electrical and Automation Engineer at Fives ST since 2018, where they have been working on the design of multimillion dollar steel strip processing plants, with a primary focus on the electrical and automation aspect of projects.

John McClelland, PE obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Auburn University between 1992 and 1995. John then went on to obtain a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Walden University between 2004 and 2011. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications from LinkedIn, including AutoCAD Electrical Essential Training, Balanced Scorecard and Key Performance Indicators, AutoCAD: Output, Corporate Finance Foundations, Developing Business Acumen, Electrical Systems: Reading Drawings and Schematics, Excel PivotTables: Mastering PivotTables and PivotCharts, Corporate Financial Statement Analysis, Excel: PivotTables for Beginners, Six Sigma: Green Belt, Learning Minitab, and Six Sigma Foundations. John is also a Professional Engineer (PE) certified by the State of Alabama.
