Michael Mauren Mai

Michael Mauren, MAI has over 30 years of experience in commercial real estate valuation and acquisitions. Michael began their career as a Residential/Commercial Appraiser, performing appraisals for lenders, attorneys, and individuals. Michael then worked as a Staff Consultant at Ernst & Young, where they prepared market valuation appraisals and provided support for various business valuation assignments. Mauren later joined L&B Realty Advisors, LLP as an Acquisitions Officer, specializing in office and industrial assets. Michael closed $120 million worth of office and industrial assets and developed broker relationships in selected markets. After this, they joined Invesco US as part of the Acquisitions/Underwriting team, successfully underwriting and closing over $2 billion worth of properties nationwide. Michael also implemented a credit review process to assess tenant viability and mitigate investment risk. Following their time at Invesco, Mauren worked as Principal at Real Estate Consulting, providing consulting and financial analysis services to the real estate industry. Michael then joined Integra Realty Resources as a Senior Analyst, where they specialized in valuing a wide range of properties and portfolios for institutional investors. Currently, they serve as the Managing Director at Integra Realty Resources in Dallas. Mauren's expertise includes valuations and acquisitions of properties throughout the United States, with a focus on office, retail, industrial, data centers, and multi-family properties.

Michael Mauren, MAI, obtained their Masters in Finance and Real Estate from Texas A&M University in 1994. Prior to that, they earned a BBA from the University of Iowa between 1982 and 1987, with a major in Finance and minors in Marketing and Theatre. In addition to their academic achievements, Michael holds various certifications, including being a Real Estate Salesperson certified by the Texas Real Estate Commission in November 2019, an IRR Certified Reviewer from Integra Realty Resources in September 2019, a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser in Texas from TALCB (exact dates of certification are not provided), and the prestigious MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute.
