Chief Technical Officer, Microfluidics at INTEGRA

Mais Jebrail, Ph.D has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of biosciences, with a focus on microfluidics. Currently, Mais holds the position of Chief Technical Officer, Microfluidics at INTEGRA Biosciences since March 2023. Prior to this, Mais worked at Miroculus, starting as a Lead Scientist in May 2016 and eventually progressing to the role of Vice President, R&D from December 2021 to March 2023. Mais also served as the Sr. Director, R&D from April 2020 to December 2021, and as Director, Research from March 2017 to March 2020 at Miroculus. Mais also had a significant tenure at Kapplex Inc., where they held the position of Senior Scientist from August 2014 to May 2016, before the company was acquired by Miroculus. Mais began their professional journey at Sandia National Laboratories as an NSERC Postdoctoral Fellow from November 2011 to July 2014.

Mais Jebrail, Ph.D. obtained a Hon. B.Sc. degree in Chemistry from York University in 2005. From 2005 to 2007, they pursued their M.Sc. in Biomaterials Chemistry at the same institution. Subsequently, between 2007 and 2011, Mais attended the University of Toronto, where they completed their Ph.D. in Bioanalytical Chemistry.
