Andrea Vyas

Andrea Vyas is an accomplished professional in the field of molecular and cellular biology, currently serving as a Custom Solutions Manufacturing Leader, Commercial Product Manager for Synthetic Biology, and Synthetic Biology Application Scientist at Integrated DNA Technologies since July 2019. Prior experience includes a postdoctoral scholar and graduate research assistant at the University of Iowa, where Vyas earned a PhD focusing on the neural crest gene regulatory network and disease. Leadership roles at the University of Iowa included serving as a graduate student representative on multiple committees and as president of the Anatomy and Cell Biology Student organization. Vyas also received a Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Award fellowship during tenure at the University of Iowa Roy J. and Lucille A. Carver College of Medicine. Education credentials include a PhD from the University of Iowa and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Northwestern College.
