Michael Washburn

Michael Washburn, Ph.D., currently serves as Associate Director of Produce and Process Innovation at Integrated DNA Technologies, where leadership of cross-functional teams focuses on developing innovative products to enhance cancer diagnostics accessibility through next-generation sequencing (NGS) solutions. Previously, Michael held roles as Associate Director R&D, Product Innovation at Integrated DNA Technologies and Associate Director of Innovation - Oncology R&D at Invitae, emphasizing new product development and operational efficiency in oncology diagnostics. Michael's experience includes significant contributions at ArcherDX, Indiana University, and Richard L. Roudebush VA Hospital, complemented by a Ph.D. in Genome, Cell and Molecular Biology from Indiana University Bloomington and a B.A. in Biology from Wabash College.
