Sara Brown, Ph.D has over 10 years of experience in the life sciences industry. Sara currently holds the position of Vice President, Global Marketing at Integrated DNA Technologies, where they have been since 2023. Prior to this, from 2021 to 2023, they served as Vice President, Head of Product Management and Marketing at Ambry Genetics, leading the marketing organization and developing product roadmaps and strategies for genetic testing and digital health software solutions.

Before their time at Ambry Genetics, Dr. Brown worked at Thermo Fisher Scientific from 2014 to 2021. During this period, they held several roles including General Manager and Director, Genomics Sample Collection and Preparation, where they focused on sample collection and preparation solutions for genomics and molecular diagnostic workflows. Sara also served as Director of Product Management and Marketing, overseeing the development of product roadmaps and marketing strategies for various PCR assays and gene panels. Additionally, they worked as Associate Director, Global Product Management, Gene Expression, and Global Product Manager, qPCR assays, during their tenure at Thermo Fisher Scientific.

From 2013 to 2014, Dr. Brown worked at Bio-Rad Laboratories as a Global Product Marketing Manager, responsible for managing a portfolio of protein sample preparation and quantitation products.

Earlier in their career, they held various positions including Scientific Development Program Fellow, Senior Scientist at Danaher Corporation- Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, Patenting and Licensing Ambassador at Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation (WARF), Account Manager at Life Technologies, Graduate Researcher at Yale University School of Medicine, and R&D Product Development Intern at Promega.

Dr. Brown's expertise lies in developing and implementing marketing strategies, product management, and leadership in the life sciences industry.

Sara Brown, Ph.D, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Sara also completed their Ph.D in Biochemistry from the same institution. Additionally, they obtained a Master of Science degree in Molecular Biology and Genetics from Yale University. Sara has a Graduate Certificate in Marketing/Marketing Management, General from Wisconsin School of Business.
