Shale Dames

Shale Dames is an accomplished NGS Scientist and Application Specialist at Integrated DNA Technologies since September 2018, with extensive experience in clinical test development and bioinformatic analysis at ARUP Laboratories from 2004 to 2018. Dames played a key role in establishing the Next Generation Sequencing Laboratory and was involved in pioneering clinical tests using molecular genetics techniques. Academic credentials include a PhD in Biomedical Informatics from the University of Utah School of Medicine, a Master of Science in Molecular Genetics from the University of Denver, and a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology from the University of Denver. Additional previous roles include Senior Scientist at Huntsman Cancer Institute and various positions at ARUP Laboratories focused on advanced technology and research.
