Phuc Nguyen

Phuc Nguyen is an experienced Clinical Laboratory Scientist with a focus on molecular oncology and next-generation sequencing at NeoGenomics Laboratories since September 2018, working up to the role of Lead of the NGS Team. Prior positions include Lab Technologist II at Gene by Gene, specializing in human genotyping and high-throughput sample processing, and a Lab Technician role through InGenesis, where DNA and RNA extraction were performed. Early research experience includes projects on SNP calling without a reference genome and NGS sequencing during undergraduate studies at Iowa State University, where a Bachelor's Degree in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology was earned. Phuc Nguyen has also demonstrated leadership and organizational skills through event management roles during university studies.
