Neil Vyas

Neil Vyas is an accomplished materials science professional currently serving as the Materials Science Manager at Haydale since September 2017, where the focus is on the investigation and characterization of materials, particularly graphene and carbon nanotubes. Prior experience includes a role as a Materials Engineer at DST Innovations Ltd from December 2014 to August 2017, working on printed electronics and energy storage materials, and a position as a Research Engineer at Swansea University from September 2010 to November 2014, where a PhD project sponsored by TATA Steel EU was undertaken to develop high-temperature resistant coatings for solar cells. Earlier roles include a Project Fellow at NIT Durgapur, concentrating on high-temperature corrosion mechanisms, and a Research Fellow at Sardar Patel University, where the development of carbon foams for hydrogen storage was pursued. Neil Vyas holds a Ph.D. in Materials Engineering from Swansea University, alongside an M.Sc. in Materials Science from Sardar Patel University and a B.Sc. in Chemistry from The University of Burdwan.
