David Fife

David has spent the last 25+ years as a private equity investor, having served as a partner on numerous venture, growth equity, middle market buyout and co-investment funds with top-quartile performance returns through multiple economic and fund cycles. David has deep consumer sector knowledge in particular with a strong track record of successful exits around health & wellness, retail, apparel, beauty, food & beverage companies. Most recently David was a Partner at NextWorld, where he led the investment activities for the firm’s $400mm evergreen growth equity fund. Prior to that he was a Partner with Sandbridge Capital, a leading consumer growth equity fund, which he co-founded alongside designer Tommy Hilfiger and former Gucci CEO, Domenico De Sole.

David started his career at Goldman Sachs in New York, where he worked for several years before moving into the private equity industry by assuming investment roles with prominent individual and family office investors. David has been an active investor, board member, lead director, and executive chairman of over a dozen venture and growth-stage companies, both public and private. He is an active member of several activists and social impact-oriented organizations and a former member of the New York City chapter of Young Presidents Organization (YPO).
