Michele Krpata

Michele Krpata is the Compliance Officer, Quality Reporting Analyst at IPMS. She has been with IPMS for more than 19 years and began her tenure as a Medical Reimbursement Specialist, transitioning to Coding and Compliance Management. Michele earned her certifications in Professional Coding (CPC) and Professional Medical Auditing (CPMA). She keeps informed with the most current compliance changes, coordinates internal HIPAA audits, updates IPMS policies/procedures and provides regular compliance training for IPMS personnel.

Michele oversees the Administrative, Physical and Technical Safeguards implemented to protect our clients’ sensitive information. Michele follows Medicare changes and shares relevant information with IPMS teams and clients. She also follows the Medicare Quality programs, working closely with clients to clarify program updates and assist with understanding and fulfilling the Medicare Quality Payment Program requirements.

Michele is known for providing superior customer service and approaches clients with professionalism, integrity and patience. She is always willing to answer any question a client may have and work together to address their needs.

In her free time, Michele enjoys being a member of the Plainville Choral Society and is an active Cub Scout Leader. Together with her family, she enjoys many outdoor activities including camping, boating and fishing. She also takes pleasure in leading the IPMS Chili Cook-Off Team each year.
