Integrated Regional Laboratories
Karen Toronczyk started their work experience in 2009 as an Assistant Professor/Pathologist at the University of Florida. In 2010, they worked as an Associate Pathologist at AmeriPath and later at HCA. In 2011, they joined HCA Integrated Regional Labs as an Assistant Pathologist, and later became a Medical Director. Karen is currently still working in this position.
Karen Toronczyk's education history begins with their completion of a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree at the University of Buenos Aires from 1991 to 1998. Moving forward, they pursued a Pathology residency at UMass Chan Medical School from 2004 to 2007, specializing in Anatomic Pathology and Clinical Medicine. Following this, from 2007 to 2008, Karen served as the Chief Resident in Pathology at UMass Chan Medical School. Finally, they joined The University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in 2008 as a Fellow in Cytopathology, where they completed the Cytopathology Residency Program in 2009.
