Ferrugia Sonthonax

Ferrugia Sonthonax is an experienced operations leader with a diverse background in education and nonprofit sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Operations at Women of Renewable Industries and Sustainable Energy (WRISE) since March 2024, Ferrugia also holds a position as a Board Member for Integration Charter Schools since July 2023. Prior roles include Director of Operations at Prospect Schools, Chief Operating Officer (Interim) at Stage Directors and Choreographers Society (SDC), and Director of School Operations at New Visions for Public Schools. Ferrugia has also been involved with Ascend Public Charter Schools in various operational capacities and was the Founding Director of Operations at the International Charter School of New York. Earlier career positions include Operations Manager, Operations Assistant, and Assistant to the Executive Director at various organizations. Ferrugia Sonthonax earned a Bachelor's Degree in Public Administration from John Jay College (CUNY) between 2006 and 2010.
