Nancy Balakonis

Nancy Balakonis has over 20 years of experience in human resources. Nancy is currently the Director of Human Resources at Integrity House. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Human Resources at American Addiction Centers from 2020 to 2021. From 2015 to 2019, they held the position of Director of Human Resources, Benefits, and Training at Phoenix Care Systems. Nancy also worked as the Director of Human Resources at FAMILYConnections, Inc. from 2013 to 2015. Earlier in their career, they gained experience as a Human Resources Generalist at Cerebral Palsy of North Jersey from 2011 to 2013 and at Sun Chemical from 2007 to 2011. Nancy started their career as a Benefits Administrator at Weiler Corporation in 2002.

Nancy Balakonis obtained an AA degree in Liberal Arts from Sussex County Community College from 1990 to 1993. Nancy then went on to receive a BA degree in Economics and a BS degree in Management/Personnel from East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania from 1993 to 1995. Later, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Management & Leadership from East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania from 2005 to 2009. Additionally, Nancy participated in the Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) Program at The Wharton School in 2017. Nancy has not specified the obtained month and year for their additional certifications, which include the Group Benefits Associate (GBA) from the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans (IFEBP), the SHRM - Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) from SHRM, and the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI.
