Sahar Massachi

Sahar Massachi has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Currently, Massachi is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of Integrity Institute since 2021. They are also a Fellow at the Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University, serving as a Rebooting Social Media Fellow and an Affiliate. Massachi is also a Fellow at The Roddenberry Foundation, where they work towards safeguarding human rights and promoting an equal and just society.

In the past, Massachi has worked as a StartingBloc Fellow and Mentor, attending several institutes a year where they led skill-building workshops and transformative experiences. They also had a period of self-employment as "Blissfully Unemployed" from 2020 to 2021.

Massachi has also worked in the tech industry, with notable roles at OpenLabs R&D as an Engineering Lead, contributing to the development of engineering infrastructure for polling and A/B testing during the 2020 election. They have also held positions at Facebook as a Software Engineer, working on election integrity and data engineering for the Civic Engagement team. Additionally, Massachi has experience as a Tech Editor at Current Affairs and as a Data Scientist/Engineer at Grovo, where they led data strategy and analysis.

In 2014, Massachi co-founded Finvisor, a financial services web app, and served as the Lead Developer, guiding product and business strategy for the company.
