Brian Hughes is the founder and CEO of Integrity Marketing & Consulting, where he has been helping his clients build powerful brands through content marketing, social media marketing, search engine optimization, email marketing, pay-per-click advertising and web design since 2011. As a seasoned digital marketing expert, Hughes is a frequent contributor to Entrepreneur.com, Business.com, Moz, Small Business Trends, Social Media Today, ChamberofCommerce.com, Social Media Week and was just accepted as a contributor to Huffington Post.

In December 2015, Brian was honored with the Market Expert of the Month by Business.com. Brian was the first ever to receive this recognition.

Brian started out in humble beginnings – and his first job was as a dishwasher at a local restaurant in his hometown of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania at the age of 14. Over the years, Brian learned what it meant to work hard and worked his way up to assistant kitchen manager.

When Brian was 25 he changed his personal life for the better after heading down the wrong path for a few years – and as a result, he moved to Miami Florida to start over. He decided to make a career change and left behind his 9 years of kitchen experience to go into sales and marketing. He figured out that he was a natural at selling and excelled everywhere he worked. He started out in squalid phone rooms in sunny Miami and worked his way up to a Guest Vacation Specialist at Royal Caribbean Cruises LTD.

Then Brian landed himself a career as a Pharmaceutical Sales Rep, and everything changed. He found his ex-wife, earned his first 6 figure income, bought his first brand new vehicle and had 3 beautiful kids. Brian did great for himself and his family for 6 years but started to feel like he hit a brick wall.

After a few serious events within his career that were beyond his control, he decided to leave Pharmaceutical sales behind. At the time, he was doing SEO and web design on the side. He saw that he was a natural at search and communicating with business owners. That’s when he chose to go full time into SEO and web design.
