Bani Mohanty

Bani Mohanty, PhD, MBA, CLSSBB, has extensive work experience in the medical device and manufacturing industries. Bani has worked as a Principal Engineer at the Integer Holdings Corporation since 2019, focusing on CRM and neuromodulation. Prior to that, they worked at Medtronic as a Consultant-Staff Manufacturing Process Engineer/Technical Advisor from 2016 to 2019. From 2013 to 2016, they served as a Staff Process Development Engineer at Greatbatch Medical, an Integer company, where they played a key role in developing and implementing component manufacturing processes. Bani also has experience working at Stryker Orthopaedics and Boston Scientific, where they held various roles related to continuous improvement, coatings, and materials and process technology. Additionally, they have worked as an independent consultant, supporting organizations in various sectors and conducting R&D efforts. Bani Mohanty started their career at Eaton, where they served as the Supervisor of Engineering Services and Manager of the Materials Lab, providing materials engineering support to a global team.

Bani Mohanty, PhD, MBA, CLSSBB has a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Minnesota. Bani also holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of St. Thomas - Opus College of Business. Bani Mohanty completed their Bachelor's Degree in Metallurgical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Rourkela. Additionally, they have certifications in Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from Villanova University, PMP Certification Boot Camp from Watermark Learning, and a Certificate in Project Management from the University of St. Thomas. Bani Mohanty has also obtained additional certifications in Reliability Analysis from Medtronic, Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) from Boston Scientific, and Six Sigma for Design and Development (SSDD) from Eaton.
