Lance Basile

Director, Product Development at Integer Holdings

Lance Basile has a diverse and extensive work experience in various engineering roles throughout their career. Lance began their career as an Electrical Engineer at Medical Graphics Corporation in 1992, where they developed an exercise stress test system for a new market with cost and portability constraints. Lance then worked at Kovex Corporation as a Senior Engineer, developing a novel laser confocal scanning microscope. After the funding was discontinued, they remained as a key technical advisor for intellectual property transfer. Lance then joined BFGoodrich Aerospace as a Program Manager, leading a team in developing an air data computer for military aircraft. Lance successfully negotiated a $7M contract and ensured customer satisfaction.

In 2000, Lance became the Owner and Software Engineer at Handlogic before transitioning to St. Jude Medical in 2002, where they held various roles, including Senior Engineer, Principal Engineer, and Manager II in R&D Systems engineering. Lance then became the Senior Manager of Design Transfer and Test Systems Engineering, overseeing the transfer of designs and testing of medical devices.

In 2015, Lance joined Fluke Corporation as Manager III, responsible for managing the Engineering and Quality Assurance team developing thermal imaging products. Finally, they are currently the Director of Product Development at Integer Holdings Corporation, where they oversee the strategic development of new products.

Lance Basile completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder in 1992. Prior to that, they studied Electrical Engineering at Oregon State University from 1987 to 1989.
