Niall O'Connor

Niall O'Connor has extensive work experience in quality and regulatory affairs in the healthcare and medical device industry. Niall has held various leadership roles throughout their career, including Senior Director of Global Regulatory, Design Assurance & Clinical Affairs at Integer Holdings Corporation, and Director of Quality Global QA/RA at Phillips-Medisize. Niall also served as the Director of Quality Operations for Europe at Nypro, a Jabil Company. Niall has a strong background in driving improvements in quality systems, ensuring compliance with regulations, and leading teams in developing and implementing quality programs. Niall has experience in managing the quality aspects of R&D projects, production, and manufacturing operations. Niall O'Connor has a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree from the University of Galway, which they obtained between 1991 and 1994. Niall then pursued a post-graduate Diploma in Industrial Microbiology from the same university in 1994-1995. In 2015-2017, Niall completed a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Medical Technology Regulatory Affairs at the University of Galway. Currently, they are working towards a master's degree in Industrial Pharmaceutical Science at Atlantic Technological University, starting in 2021 and expected to finish in 2023.
