Cristina Beldica is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in high-performance computing and software development. Currently serving as the Director of HPC Software Development at Intel Corporation since May 2015, Cristina previously held various leadership positions at the National Center for Supercomputing Applications at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from 1996 to 2015, including Blue Waters Executive Director and Senior Program Manager. Cristina holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Engineering Mechanics from the University of Illinois, an MBA in Business Administration from Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and a Master’s Degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering from the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest.
