Risa Lavizzo-Mourey

Dr. Risa Lavizzo-Mourey was elected to Intel’s board of directors as an independent director in March 2018. Lavizzo-Mourey was the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation PIK Professor of Population Health and Health Equity at the University of Pennsylvania from 2018 to 2021. From 2003 to 2017, she was the president and chief executive officer of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, the largest U.S. philanthropy organization dedicated to health.

Lavizzo-Mourey is a member of the boards of directors of General Electric Co. and Merck & Co. She previously served as a director at Genworth Financial Inc., Beckman Coulter Inc. and Hess Corp. She is also a member of the National Academy of Medicine, the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, The American Philosophical Society, and is on the board of regents of the Smithsonian Institution and on the board of trustees for the Howard Hughes Medical Institute.

Lavizzo-Mourey holds an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania and received her M.D. from Harvard Medical School.
