Sven Tierney

Sven Tierney has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. Sven started their career as an R&D engineer at Invivosense asa in 2008 and worked there until 2010. Sven then joined Ecowat as as a researcher from 2011 to 2012. Following that, they worked at GeoKnowledge as a technical support/technical sales representative from 2012 to 2014. Sven then joined SchlumbergerSoftware as a Petroleum Economic Consultant from 2014 to 2016. Sven then joined Salcon Petroleum Services, where they held two roles: Head of Technical Services from 2016 to 2021 and Technical Director from 2018 to 2021. In 2018, Sven also worked at Logit as a Technical Director. Their most recent position is the VP of Customer Success at Intelecy, where they have been working since August 2021.

Sven Tierney obtained their Msc in Polymer Chemistry from the University of Oslo (UiO) between the years 1994 and 2001. Following that, they pursued a Bsc in Computer Studies at the same university from 2001 to 2003. Lastly, they completed their education by earning a PhD in Biophysics/Medical Technology from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) from 2004 to 2009.
