Luciano Carvalho

Luciano Carvalho has a extensive work experience in the field of DevOps and software release management. Luciano started their career as an Embedded Software Developer and Computer Data Processing Intern at the Aeronautical Institute of Technology, where they worked on designing and modeling the attitude control and navigation system for a satellite launching rocket. Luciano also contributed to the software component of the rocket's attitude control and participated in developing a distributed system for stock brokerage agencies.

Luciano then worked at Solectron Corporation as a Software Developer and Computer Systems Analyst, where they tailored the Rational Unified Process and defined an object-oriented design and development methodology. Luciano also designed a corporate portal OO model and its database entity-relationship diagram.

Luciano then moved to Motorola Mobility (a Lenovo Company) where they served as a Principal Staff Software Engineer and Software Configuration and Release Manager. After that, Luciano worked at Shure Incorporated as a Manager of DevOps and SCM, where they introduced an innovative Agile Software Process for teams focused on embedded systems and audio and video conferencing systems. Luciano also implemented cutting-edge Software Development and Integration Processes.

Luciano then joined Zebra Technologies as a Senior Manager of DevSecOps, SCM & Software Release. Luciano governed security protocols, implemented security standards, and built a cloud-based software development environment using the Google Cloud Platform. Luciano integrated advanced computer vision capabilities into robotics systems using neural networks for data processing.

Currently, Luciano holds the position of Director of DevOps at Intelex Technologies ULC, where they spearhead the development and enhancement of EHS and ESG software solutions. Luciano collaborates with cross-functional teams, implements Agile development methodologies, and ensures efficient and reliable software release cycles.
