Brandon Smith, Esq. has a comprehensive work experience spanning over 15 years. Brandon currently serves as the Vice President, General Counsel at Intellectual Technology, Inc. where they manage legal department operations, oversees government contract negotiations, and ensures compliance with various regulations. Prior to this, they held various roles at Brotherhood Mutual Insurance Company, including Associate Corporate Counsel and Senior Corporate Attorney, where they were responsible for corporate contract negotiation, affiliate mergers and acquisitions, employment law matters, and litigation coordination. Brandon also gained valuable experience as a Legal Intern at John W. Allen & Associates, Allen County Law Library, Kids' Law, and Gay and Cipriano P.C. In addition, they worked as an Analyst at Darfur Peace and Development, where they compiled a list of victims for a potential case against the Sudanese government. Brandon began their career at Lincoln Financial Group, where they provided administrative support and ensured accuracy of premium and commission statements.
Brandon Smith, Esq. obtained a Bachelor of Science in Law and Justice from Taylor University in the years 2004 to 2008. Following that, from 2008 to 2011, they attended Regent University School of Law and received a Juris Doctor degree in Law. In 2014, they obtained a certification as a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) from The Institutes.
