Carol Loeschorn

Carol Loeschorn has over 30 years of experience in intellectual property law. Carol is currently working as the VP of Intellectual Property at Intellia Therapeutics, Inc. Prior to this, they served as the Associate General Counsel for Intellectual Property at Biogen for over 10 years. Before joining Biogen, Carol held the position of Director of Patents at AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals. Carol also has experience working as a Senior Patent Attorney at Novartis, a Patent Attorney at Sandoz, and a Patent Attorney at Polaroid Corporation.

Carol Loeschorn earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Organic Chemistry from UMass Boston from 1979 to 1982. Carol continued their education at Yale University where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Chemistry from 1982 to 1983. Lastly, they attended Suffolk University Law School from 1985 to 1989 and earned a Juris Doctor (JD) degree in Law.
