Karen Dasilva

Karen daSilva, SHRM-SCP, SPHR has over 30 years of experience in human resources. Currently, they work as the Sr. Director, HRBP, R&D at Intellia Therapeutics, Inc. Before this, they held the position of Director, Human Resources Business Partner at Alnylam Pharmaceuticals from 2018 to 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the Associate Director Human Resources at Alexion Pharmaceuticals for 7 years, where they supported multiple locations and was a member of the Senior Leadership Team. Karen also has experience as a Human Resources Team Leader at APC (Schneider Electric Company), where they provided strategic HR support for global business units and managed a client group of 750 employees. Karen started their career at Clariant Corporation, where they served as the Human Resources Manager and Quality Associate. Throughout their career, Karen has demonstrated expertise in HR support, leadership, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Karen daSilva, SHRM-SCP, SPHR has an MBA in MBA from Salve Regina University, and an MS in Total Quality Management from Anna Maria College. Karen also holds a BS in Computer Information Systems from Rhode Island College, and an AS in Computer Science from the Community College of Rhode Island. Karen has a certification in SHRM-SCP from the HR Certification Institute.
