Test Engineering Lead at Intellias

Andriy Zaliznyi has a diverse work experience spanning various companies. Andriy started their career as a senior analyst and inspector-auditor at the State Tax Administration in Lviv region from 2004 to 2012. Andriy then worked as a QA Engineer at N-iX, where they were responsible for analyzing requirements, test coverage, test planning, test design, functional testing, and defect analysis. Afterwards, they joined EPAM Systems as a Software Testing Engineer, working on projects such as a web-based application for a service desk and a single-page application for apparel and footwear designers. At Intellias, Andriy held multiple roles, including Senior Test Engineer and Test Engineering Lead. Andriy was involved in activities such as test effort estimation, creating test designs and scenarios, automation testing, functional and regression testing, and reporting critical issues. Throughout their career, Andriy has gained experience with various tools and technologies, including Jira, Zephyr, Android Studio, XCode, Appium, Java, ADB, Jenkins, Spyra Team, SQL Developer, HTTPWatch, FireBug, Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, and Navicat.

Andriy Zaliznyi completed a Master's degree in Economic Theory from the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv from 2002 to 2004. Prior to that, they obtained a Specialist degree in Computational and Applied Mathematics from the same university from 1997 to 2002. Andriy also attended the Lviv Physics and Mathematics Lyceum from 1994 to 1997, where they received a general education with a focus on physics and mathematics. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained various certifications, including one in Test Management using ZEPHYR from Udemy and a Statement of Accomplishment with Distinction from Stanford University in 2013. Most recently, Andriy has pursued certifications in topics such as REST API testing, agile fundamentals, version control using Git, and understanding APIs and RESTful APIs.
