Olena Desyk

Olena Desyk has extensive work experience in finance and accounting roles. Olena is currently serving as the Finance Director, overseeing accounting, tax, and treasury functions at Intellias since July 2023. Prior to that, they held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Digitally Inspired, a part of Intellias, starting from December 2021. Before that, Olena worked as the Director of Finance at AEQUO Law Firm from May 2021 to December 2021.

Olena has also served as the Chief Financial Officer at Yellow Stone from December 2018 to April 2021, where they were responsible for accounting, reporting, budgeting, tax, and global structure. Olena worked closely with auditors and other service providers, supported the team on all financial issues, and was involved in obtaining IT EU licensing.

Earlier in their career, Olena provided financial consulting for IT projects, focusing on international structuring and local troubleshooting. Olena also worked as the Chief Financial Officer for an international group of companies from April 2015 to February 2018, where they handled budgeting, reporting, controlling, corporate structure updates, business development, and finance attraction.

Prior to that, Olena gained valuable experience at ICON Private Equity, where they held various roles including Head of Finance Department, Finance Controller, Manager on Audit and Reporting, and Reporting and Budgeting Manager from 2010 to 2017. Olena also worked as a Specialist on Financial Statements and Internal Controls at ICON Private Equity from November 2009 to May 2010.

Olena started their career as an Auditor at KPMG in July 2007 and worked there until October 2009. Olena began their professional journey as a Business Manager Assistant at Pfizer in 2004.

Olena Desyk completed their education at the Kyiv National Linguistics University from 2002 to 2007, earning a specialist degree in Management and Economy of organizations with knowledge of English and Spanish languages. Olena also obtained a certification from ACCA (the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) in 2014.
