Emmy Tzitzikou

Emmy Tzitzikou has a diverse work experience in scientific research and internships. Emmy is currently working at Intelligencia as a Scientific Associate since April 2023. Prior to this role, they were a Junior Scientific Associate at the same company from August 2022 to April 2023. Emmy also worked at the Biomedical Research Foundation of the Academy of Athens, where they completed their MSc Thesis from August 2021 to October 2022 and served as a Research Intern from May 2021 to July 2021. Emmy also gained research experience as a Research Intern at BSRC Alexander Fleming from February 2021 to April 2021. Additionally, they had internship opportunities at Democritus University of Thrace (DUTH), where they worked as a Student Intern from October 2016 to March 2019 and as a Summer Intern in June 2017.

Emmy Tzitzikou's education history begins with their completion of a High School Diploma from the 4th General High School of Alexandroupolis, Greece, from 2010 to 2013. Emmy then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology and Genetics at the Molecular Biology and Genetics, Democritus University of Thrace, from 2014 to 2020. Currently, they are furthering their education at the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens, where they are working towards a Master of Science in Molecular Biomedicine: Mechanisms of Disease, Molecular and Cellular Therapies, and Bioinnovation, a course that started in 2020 and is expected to complete by 2022.
