Adam Russell

Plant Scientist at Intelligent Growth Solutions

Adam Russell has worked at Intelligent Growth Solutions (IGS) since 2022, starting as a Science Technician from April to August, and then transitioning to a role as a Plant Scientist in August. Prior to IGS, Adam worked at the University of Glasgow from October 2020 to April 2022. Their roles at the university included working as a Sample Handler from October 2020 to January 2021, and as a Laboratory Scientist at the Lighthouse Lab from January 2021 to April 2022. In their laboratory scientist role, Adam handled clinical samples under category 2 conditions, utilized Microbiological Safety Cabinets (MSC), and employed aseptic techniques for RNA purification and qPCR.

Adam Russell completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Plant Sciences at The University of Sheffield from 2016 to 2019. Adam then went on to pursue a Master of Science degree in Biotechnology & Management at the University of Glasgow from 2019 to 2020.
