Dan Maltby

Dan Maltby has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. In 2008, they served in the Royal Air Force Reserves for a year. From 2009 to 2012, they worked at Swissport as a Ground Handling Agent and later as a Dispatcher. Following this, they joined Barclays as a Personal Banker for a year. In 2012, they became a Dispatch Co-ordinator at Loganair Limited. From 2013 to 2018, they worked at Jet2.com, starting as a Station Controller and later becoming a Duty Manager and Senior Duty Manager. In 2018, they joined Edinburgh Airport as an Airside Operations Duty Manager and also took on the role of Airside Operations Readiness Manager from 2019 to 2020. Currently, they are with Intelligent Growth Solutions (IGS), working as a Deployment Project Manager since 2022 and is currently serving as a Farm Operations Manager since June 2023.

Dan Maltby obtained a BTEC National Diploma in Advanced Popular Music from Newcastle College. In addition, they have obtained certifications such as Mountain Leader from Mountain Training, ALCM Jazz Saxophone from the University of West London, Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt (ICYB) from Colin Barr Associates, Managing Safely from IOSH, PFCO from CAA International (UK CAA), and Private Pilots Licence & Night Rating from EASA - European Aviation Safety Agency.
