Joshua Havens

Joshua Havens has a diverse range of work experience. Joshua is currently working as a Project Manager at IGS Limited since November 2020. Previously, they volunteered as a Proud Volunteer at Scottish Tech Army from May 2020 to August 2021, where they analyzed project requests and implemented lean, agile, and design thinking methods.

Before that, Joshua worked at Edinburgh Airport from October 2018 to October 2020. During their time there, they served as a Development Manager and led multiple critical infrastructure projects. Joshua collaborated with stakeholders, managed cross-functional teams, and provided strategic advice to resolve commercial and operational problems. Joshua was also responsible for managing risks and ensuring project delivery aligned with business requirements. Notably, they played a key role in developing Edinburgh Airport's first major project in electric vehicle charging infrastructure.

Joshua gained valuable experience during their internships. Joshua interned as a Project Delivery Team intern and Complex Build Programme intern at Edinburgh Airport in 2017. In these roles, they contributed to project scoping, requirements elicitation, and the optioneering process.

Furthermore, Joshua worked as a Waiter/Trainee Supervisor at Frankie and Benny's - New York Italian Restaurant and Bar from September 2016 to June 2017. Joshua also interned as a Platform Propositions Intern at Alliance Trust Savings from January 2017 to March 2017, where they supported client retention efforts and delivered project solutions within budgetary constraints.

Additionally, Joshua worked as an Activity Leader at Lewis School of English in 2015.

Joshua Havens completed their Bachelor's Degree in Business Management at the University of Abertay Dundee from 2014 to 2018. Prior to that, they attended Lodge Park Academy from 2007 to 2013, where they obtained their GCSE's and A levels in History. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications such as "Business Analysis Foundations," "Business Analysis: Business Benefits Realization," "Business Analyst and Project Manager Collaboration," "Learning Jira Software," "What Is a PMO?," and "Scrum Fundamentals Certified (SFC)" from LinkedIn in May 2020. Joshua also holds certifications in "Certified Construction Site Visitor" from CITB and "IOSH Managing Safely Certification" from IOSH, although the specific dates of obtaining these certifications are not provided.
