Marwan Ghanem has worked for several companies in a variety of roles. Marwan began their career in 2013 as an Intern at the Laboratoire d'Informatique de Paris 6, before becoming a Programmer at Atom System. Marwan then returned to Laboratoire d'Informatique de Paris 6 as an Intern in 2014, before becoming a PhD Student in 2015. TheirPhD research focused on Temporal Centralities: A study of the importance of nodes in dynamic graphs. In 2018, they became an Attaché Temporaire d'Enseignement et de Recherche (ATER) at Sorbonne Universitie. In 2019, they joined Kisio Études & Conseil as a Consultant/Data Scientist and most recently in 2021, they began working as a Research Engineer at Intelligent Locations.

Marwan Ghanem's educational history includes a Higher Secondary School Certificate from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport in Math Physics Biology from 2007 to 2009, a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Pierre and Marie Curie University from 2010 to 2013, a Master's degree in Science and Technology of Software from Pierre and Marie Curie University from 2013 to 2015, and a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Computer Science from Sorbonne Université from 2015 to 2018.
