Karl Keppeler

Karl Keppeler is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in electrical and embedded systems. Currently serving as an IPS Fellow at Intelligent Product Solutions since January 2009, Karl has a strong background in hybrid vehicle systems, having worked as a Principal Engineer at ElectroMotive Designs and Odyne Corporation. Notably, at ElectroMotive Designs, Karl contributed to the development of a retrofit hybrid electric propulsion system that utilizes ultracapacitors for energy efficiency. Previous roles include leading the development of a next-generation computer for forklifts at Symbol Technologies/Motorola Solutions and architecting telecom switching products at Digital Transmission Systems. Karl holds a Master of Engineering and Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
