Gemma Murdoch has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Gemma began their career in 2011 as the Membership Manager for the Cecilian Society, where they managed over 60 people and served as the main liaison between the cast and the production team. From 2012 to 2013, they were promoted to Vice President of the society, where they handled executive duties, managed social media content, and acted as the main support for the President.

In 2013, Gemma worked as a Sales Assistant for BBC Worldwide, specifically in a temporary Dr. Who Pop-Up Shop. Gemma then joined Monty's Chocolates as a Florist and Sales Assistant, responsible for designing and arranging flowers, handling money, and providing excellent customer service.

Gemma worked as a Sales Assistant for kikki.K, an international stationary brand, from 2013 to 2015. Gemma also worked as a Freelance Writer for Weekend Notes, a website informing the community of entertainment opportunities, during 2014.

In 2015, Gemma joined Best Practice Australia Pty Ltd as a Research Coordinator, handling the coordination of BPA Surveys. Gemma was later promoted to Account Manager, where they created project plans, drafted agreements, and ensured client expectations were met.
